ICEHOTEL VIP Experience

This special 3-night VIP Experience break to Sweden’s famous Ice Hotel includes a range of meals, activities and unique accommodation to make for a very special once in a lifetime trip.

We have even included 3 evening meals, 2 lunches, 2 excursions and a night in a beautiful Art Suite at the Ice Hotel. This package is flexible and so if you would like to stay longer or adjust the activities for example do not hesitate to ask.

Day 1
– Depart from London to Kiruna via Stockholm.
– On arrival, you will be transferred from Kiruna airport to Sweden’s famous Ice Hotel by private vehicle.
– On arrival at the Ice Hotel, you will receive your warm outerwear which you can keep for the duration of your stay.
– Enjoy a sumptuous 3-course ‘Chef Menu’ at the Ice Hotel restaurant (drinks payable locally).
– Tonight you will stay in one of the very special Art Suites (ask about upgrading to the Deluxe Suites which come with their own private large bathroom). You will receive a tour of the complex including instructions on how to get a good nights’ sleep.

Day 2
– This morning you will be woken by the Ice Hotel team with hot loganberry juice, enjoy breakfast at the Ice Hotel restaurant.
– Today is at leisure – enjoy exploring the local area or pre-book one of the additional activities.
– A buffet lunch at the Ice Hotel restaurant is included today (drinks payable locally).
– This evening, venture out on a special event excursion in search of the Northern Lights by snowmobile. The two of you will share a snowmobile, or pay a supplement if you want the thrill of driving your own. A traditional dinner is included on this excursion where you can warm up in a traditional wilderness hut.
– Tonight spend the first of 2 nights in your warm accommodation.

Day 3
– Enjoy breakfast at the Ice Hotel restaurant.
– This morning you will venture out on the 4hr Trap Line Husky Dog Sled excursion. The kennels of Bert Ove Johansson are located in Laxforsen 10km from Kiruna, and have been certified by the ‘Nature’s Best’ environmental award. After meeting your team of huskies at the kennels, you will depart for a tour of the surrounding Arctic wilderness. Watch the white landscape glide past from your seat or from the mushers/driver’s position – It is a truly wonderful experience. Light refreshments will be served in a wilderness hut whilst the guide tells stories about the huskies and the traditional way of light and survival techniques used in the area. It is possible to take a short snow shoe walk in the surroundings of the hut. Return to kennels by dog sled. One passenger is included to learn in the main cost). Children are required to sit in the guides sled. The supplement to drive your own private sled is  from £72pp. There is also the option to sit on the shared sled as a passenger, price from £171 pp
– Dinner is included at the more casual Homestead restaurant (drinks payable locally)

Day 4
– Enjoy breakfast at the Ice Hotel restaurant.
– Sadly it is time to say goodbye to the Ice Hotel.
– After some free time this morning you will be transferred by private vehicle to Kiruna airport for your return flight to the UK.
