This is a special 3 night Sweden short break holiday, experiencing the world-famous Ice Hotel in Sweden with the added bonus of an overnight at a the unique Enoks Wilderness Cabin.

Located in the Sami village of Nikkaluokta, father and son team, Andreas and Nils Sarri welcome you to their remote world at the foot of Sweden’s highest mountain, Mount Kebnekaise.

Fly from the UK to Kiruna and enjoy two nights at the world famous and original ICEHOTEL. You land in this magical winter wonderland at Kiruna airport in the early afternoon. Check in at the main reception, collect your warm outer clothing and explore this incredible structure.

Included is a guided tour of ICEHOTEL and some useful information about how to sleep well at -5C. One night in a room of ice, snow and snice (snow and ice) plus a room in a warm hotel room surrounded by stunning beauty and the frozen Torne River. Choose from a wide range of activities enjoy the nature.

An Incredible Adventure
On night 3, travel to the remote Sami village of Nikkaluokta of your overnight wilderness stay. With a warm welcome and having donned some thermal winter suits journey by snowmobile through fairy tale snow-covered forests and into the Arctic tundra. There are just 4 wilderness cabins, with running water and electricity (a genuine luxury in the wilderness), on the frozen shores of Lake Láddjujávri alongside the iconic, Sami-themed mountain restaurant.

Itinerary

Day 1
Fly from UK to Kiruna in Lapland (via Stockholm).
Transfer from Kiruna airport to ICEHOTEL (20 mins).
Guided tour of ICEHOTEL.
Check into your cold room at ICEHOTEL.

Day 2
Breakfast.
Check out of your cold room at ICEHOTEL.
Optional excursions / activities.
Check in to your warm room at ICEHOTEL.

Day 3
Breakfast.
Morning at leisure or optional excursions / activities.

Snowmobiles – An Incredible Journey!
This is the Arctic and this is the wilderness – conditions are naturally unpredictable and the exact itinerary is not the same from day to day.

1pm: Collection for this exclusive tour where your destination is the end of the road in the Sami village of Nikkaluokta. This road is popular for moose watching excursions as moose and reindeer are regularly seen grazing at the road side – keep your camera close by!

2pm: Father and son team, Andreas and Nils Sarri (who have Sami heritage), will provide you with warm outer clothing and give you comprehensive instructions about how to drive your snowmobile through the wilderness to Lake Láddjujávri. Time for a fika (coffee and cake) before exploring some more. Perhaps light a fire, gather round, get to know each other and scan the sky for the northern lights.

5pm: Back to the cabins and time to relax and enjoy the silence of nature. Sauna and a roll in the snow perhaps.

7.30pm Evening meal served in the iconic restaurant. Fingers crossed for northern lights.

Day 4
8am: Breakfast buffet
9am: Snowmobile to a renowned ice-fishing location surrounded by mountains. Drill your hole, bait your hook and see what’s nibbling.
10am: Time to jump on the snowmobiles and head back to the start point in Nikkaloukta.

1hr transfer to Kiruna airport or continue your holiday in Swedish Lapland.
Flight back to the UK (via Stockholm).
