ICEHOTEL & Stockholm Short Break
Make the most of your journey via Stockholm with an overnight stay in one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Scandinavia.
This itinerary features 1 night in Stockholm, 1 night in an ‘ice room’ at Sweden’s famous ICEHOTEL and 1 night in warm accommodation at the ICEHOTEL.
You can of course adjust this itinerary to meet your requirements subject to the various elements being available.
Day 1:
Fly from London to Stockholm (transfer from the airport via private car transfer to the city centre). Enjoy the rest of the day and evening at leisure.
Spend the night at the hotel of your choice in Stockholm. We can offer a range of standards from 3*-5*, please do discuss your preferred style of hotel with our travel experts who can then recommend the most suitable option for you.
Day 2:
Morning at leisure before you are collected and transferred by private car to Stockholm airport for you onward flight from Stockholm to Kiruna. Meet your transfer which will take you to the ICEHOTEL (approx 15 mins).
Enjoy a complimentary orientation tour of the ICEHOTEL (subject to arrival time) before spending your first night in an Ice Room – a spacious room with unique ice furniture (you can upgrade to an art suite, please ask for a quotation).
Depending on your arrival time you can enjoy one of the many optional excursions, pre-booking is recommended.
Day 3:
After the experience of sleeping on ice, you are awoken with a mug of hot lingonberry juice ready for the days activities ahead.
Enjoy a morning excursion, we suggest 4 hour Trap Line Dog Sled excursion.
Afternoon at leisure to explore the Ice Hotel and local surroundings (or add-on an optional excursion of your choice – click here for more details.
This evening experience the Northern Lights by Snowmobile tour which lasts approx 3.5 hours and includes a traditional evening meal and a Northern Lights slide show before you depart.
Day 4:
– 3 night break – today you will be transferred from the ICEHOTEL back to Kiruna airport for your flight home via Stockholm.
– 4 night break – if you decide to stay for an extra night, enjoy a leisurely morning before embarking on an optional excursion such as the Reindeer Safari visiting the traditional Sami Camp.
Day 5:
4 night break – A final opportunity to enjoy the sights of the ICEHOTEL before you depart for your journey home.
