It has been an exciting year as we are finally able to send clients once again to Sweden’s Ice Hotel. We have had lots of amazing feedback from clients and will share them here with you.

Thanks Mr Clarke for the below amazing comments, it is a real boost to moral after such a challenging two years! It is great to hear how much our Ice Hotel holidays are being enjoyed, thanks to the team in Sweden for their great work!

What was so special?
The Ice Hotel is a place we have wanted to visit for many years and it turned out to be a truly amazing, magical place that surpassed all expectations in its beauty … and pure coolness! But as wonderful (if not more) in a different way were the incredible excursion experiences we were lucky to be able to enjoy, out in countryside. Truly breathtaking.

 

What would you recommend?

For the adventurous in spirit, I would definitely recommend the excursions we took – the Trapline Husky DogSled Tour and the overnight Snowmobile tour to the cabin. Both were led by excellent guides and tremendous fun, as well as stunning forays into the wild…

The only thing I would suggest is to be aware that the Ice Hotel is now quite a big set up and has become a bit commercial, so don’t expect it to be a small intimate place. But it’s still spectacular and definitely recommended!

 

What do you think of RB…

My wife and I recently had an incredible 4 day trip to Sweden to celebrate joint milestone birthday, visiting the Ice Hotel – somewhere we have wanted to go for many years. We stayed in an ice room for a night (one night was incredible … but enough!) and travelled to a remote cabin for a second night. The various excursions we had – the Trapline Husky Sled ride and snowmobile tour – were truly amazing experiences and very well organised. We also had a wonderful stopover in vibrant Stockholm – a city we love.

The team at RB Collection – and in particular Oliver who was our main point of contact – were most accommodating in helping us arrange and modify the itinerary as needed and was always willing to see what could be accommodated. He was friendly, courteous and very efficient and I am extremely appreciative of all the work he/they put into organising our trip.

We were after a trip of lifetime … and that was, in the end, what we got…in buckets! Thank you.

What would you say to someone hesitant to travel right now?

In the end, fortune favours the brave. There were a lot of things that could have happened to scupper our plans – and in fact some did before we left that caused us to change our journey – but once we were on our way, everything went smoothly. A main reason for that was the fantastically well organised itinerary that RB Collection had arranged for us, so we are extremely grateful.
